Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving (also known as ‘Give as You Earn’) is one of the most effective ways to enable people to support their favourite charity. It’s simple to join and it’s tax-free.
This means that £3.90 per month from your pay packet ends up as a donation worth £5 to The PSP Association at no extra cost to you.
How does it work?
| Your donation (gross payroll amount) | Cost to you (basic rate taxpayer) | Cost to you (higher rate taxpayer) |
| £5 | £3.90 | £3.00 |
| £10 | £7.80 | £6.00 |
| £20 | £15.60 | £12.00 |
1 - Check with your payroll department that your company is registered with a Payroll Giving agency.
2 - Complete a Payroll Giving Form
3 - If you ever want to stop giving or change the amount you give, just contact your payroll department at work.
Should your company not be registered with a payroll giving agency, please email Gerald Kirby or phone 01327 322417 and we can advise your employer how to sign up.
