Under Th'Under the Magnolia Tree' - a cookbook by Helen Barkshiree Magnolia Tree - a very special cookbook

Helen Barkshire, whose mother suffered from PSP, has put together ‘Under the Magnolia Tree’ a soft food cookery book with recipes designed specifically for those who may have difficulty in swallowing.

The book contains a fabulous collection of recipes to suit a wide range of tastes, budgets and cookery skills! Inspiration and recipe ideas were donated by family and friends and a number of celebrity chefs, including Gordon Ramsey, Michel Roux, Nigella Lawson, Raymond Blanc, Delia Smith and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.

“From a fool-proof cheese sauce, the best recipe for mince ever, to a fabulous mango soufflé contributed by Michel Roux, I sincerely hope that thinking of what to cook will become a little easier and that the food will still meet the requirements of being easy to swallow and well as easy and quick to prepare, and tasty too!” – Helen Barkshire.
