We are extremely grateful to receive every donation, whether it is a one-off cheque, a regular sum of money, a gift in kind or something else.

  • Giving stocks and shares is an alternative way of giving to charity.  Selling shares at less than their market value allows the charity to receive shares at a discount.  Donors can claim relief against their taxable income on the discount.
  • Donations in kind will also make a valuable contribution to the work of The PSP Association - from pop concert tickets to one-off gifts for auctions or raffle prizes.  Please email the Events Team with your offer of help.
  • Donate through your tax return - for those that complete a self-assessment tax return form you can nominate The PSP Association to receive any tax refund that you are due.  All you have to do is tick the relevant box on your tax return form (entitled 'Finishing your Tax Return').
  • The Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) is a registered charity specifically set up to help individuals and companies who wish to give to charity. A CAF Charity Account works like a current account, where you ‘fund' the account regularly so that you always have a pot of money set aside for charity.  CAF take care of the Gift Aid, which saves us administrative time and costs ... all you do is make a donation using your charity cheque book.
  • A CAF Family Account is similar to a CAF Charity Account but it is designed to include children so that they are encouraged to learn about the work of charities and how giving can make a difference.
  • A CAF Trust may be an option if you have larger sums of money to give to charity.

Stuck for present ideas? CAF Charity Gift Vouchers are avilable in £10 and £25 demoniations.  To find out more about all CAF products visit the CAF website.
